Mark brings more than 30 years of experience to the firm, including 22 years as a Partner at a large Bay Area CPA firm. After his time at the large firm, he managed his own CPA firm in Menlo Park for 10 years. He specializes in domestic and international tax planning, estate planning, and business consulting.
Mark is a graduate of the Universities of Cape Town and Witwatersrand in South Africa and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the California Society of CPAs (CALCPA). He is also a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario (Canada).
Mark has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations, including as CFO/Treasurer of SF Bay Task Force ’94, the host entity for the1994 World Cup Soccer at Stanford Stadium in Palo Alto.
In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, half marathons, tennis, English Premier League soccer, travel, music, the arts, and spending time with his two children and four grandchildren.
